Terms of Use

1. About us and these terms

This website is operated by The A Level Maths Tutor, a trading name of The A Level Maths Tutor Limited, registered in England and Wales (company number 15224150). Registered office: 83-89 Phoenix Street, Sutton-In-Ashfield, England, NG17 4HL.

These terms govern your use of this website. By using the site, you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

2. Our tuition service is governed separately

We are a tutoring agency: we introduce students to self-employed tutors, who provide the tuition. If you book tuition, that is governed by our Client Terms, which you accept before your tuition begins, together with our Privacy Policy. Those terms, not this page, cover fees, payment, cancellations, safeguarding and everything else about the tuition itself.

3. Using the website

You may use this website for its intended purpose. You agree not to:

4. Accounts

Some features (such as the student portal) require an account. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you think your account has been used without your permission.

5. Intellectual property

The content on this website, including text, images, videos and our learning materials, is owned by us or used under licence. You may view and use it for your own personal, non-commercial study. You may not otherwise copy, reproduce, distribute or commercially exploit it without our written consent.

6. Availability and accuracy

We try to keep the website available and its information accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee that it will always be available or error-free, and we may change or withdraw features. Information on the site is for general information and does not form part of the tuition contract unless the Client Terms say so.

7. Our responsibility for the website

We take reasonable care over this website. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss caused by matters outside our reasonable control or by use of the site other than as intended.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud, and nothing affects your statutory rights. Any limit on our liability in connection with the tuition service is set out in the Client Terms, not here.

8. Privacy

We handle personal data in line with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

9. Complaints

If you have a concern or complaint, please see our Complaints Procedure.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these website terms from time to time and will post the current version on this page.

11. Governing law

These terms, and any dispute connected with them (including non-contractual disputes), are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
