Every place comes with free Premium membership of A Level Maths Academy, our own live-lesson academy, and if a weekly class is more than you want to spend the Academy is also there on its own. Both are set out below.
Led by our most experienced tutors, these weekly sessions, typically 60 to 70 minutes, focus intensively on exam preparation and practice. Students tackle exam questions under expert guidance, receiving personalised instruction on how to approach questions effectively and direct feedback on their own answers. This targeted approach helps students secure more marks on challenging exam questions.

That is our own academy, and further down this page: two live lessons a week on the Year 13 course, every one recorded, with worked solutions, predicted papers and the full flashcard library. You do not pay twice, and you do not sign up for it separately.

If a weekly group class is more than you want to spend, start with A Level Maths Academy, which we own and run ourselves. One of our teachers teaches the whole Year 13 course live online twice a week, and you can ask questions during the lesson exactly as you would in a classroom.
It is a class, not a small group. You are taught alongside everyone else who has joined that lesson rather than working through your own answers with a tutor, which is why it costs a fraction of a group place. Plenty of students do both.

Cancel any time. If you later join one of our groups, Premium membership comes with it, so we cancel the subscription and refund whatever you have not used.

Together, the Year 13 Exam Practice group and the Academy's live lessons give a resit student the weekly structure school used to provide: exam questions every week, and the Year 13 content taught through again. Premium membership is included free alongside the group, so a resit year costs you the group place and nothing more.
How our programme fits a resit yearOur daughter had lost alot of confidence in her Maths ability for a variety of reasons as she started Year 13. She then started weekly group exam practice sessions with Andy in December and within in a few weeks, I could see her confidence starting to build again and her love of maths returning. The structure of the sessions was perfect, with Andy giving a range of tips and strategies to start and then the students worked in pairs to tackle exam questions, with Andy interjecting to support and guide as required. The whole set up , support and resources that my daughter got access too was amazing and undoubtedly helped her secure her place at her chosen University. I would highly recommend Andy, without hesitation.
I was an A-level Maths resit student, who achieved a C in 2025. I joined the group sessions and the lessons helped me immensely. Being paired with other students to complete questions allowed me to consolidate my understanding of topics. Andrew is also a tutor who explains things very well, and makes you feel comfortable to ask questions. You can also practise given exam questions outside of the sessions and this helped me to continuously improve my maths. I was able to achieve an A this year and I'm starting my pharmacy degree this September. I would really recommend Andrew as a tutor :)
Hi this review is a bit late coming but I was an Alevel student who had done Alevel maths in 2024 and got a B when I was hoping for an A or above, I needed this for med school but I didn t get it. When I was looking for ways to private study I had found the A level Maths tutor through an old teacher of mine. When I had the talk with Andy and discussed how maths was taught here I was pleased with how flexible it was and how effective one hour lessons were at improving my maths. Let me clear I could have tried to retake my Alevel without tutoring one on one and without the group sessions but there is very important guidance given by experienced teachers who know what is needed to get those high grades, who can provide and teach students at any caliber to reach their dream grades. The support given is incredible and the bond formed with your teacher helps you so much in motivation, seeking aid, finding resources and just having help when you don't know who to turn to for it. Let me just say this, if you don't put in the work don't spend your money here it wont help I got my A grade and got into university of Southampton medical school because I worked with my tutor (Andy) and contributed in the group sessions if you DO NOT DO THE WORK this is useless for you. Success for Grades starts with YOU and these people at the Alevel Maths tutor are some of the best teachers I have seen. So with that in mind if you have a dream to get a high grade in your exams, want to improve your grade so you can get into university or feel like you just need support and help these guys are here for it and incredible. I would go looking nowhere else but here and YouTube (lets be honest yt has lots of good stuff for maths)
I had the best experience participating in the group sessions with Andrew. My confidence really grew under Andrew's guidance and this helped me to tackle my exams and achieve the grade I wanted. He was so patient and encouraging.
Before joining the A level maths tutor course I was stuck at Bs and now I have come out with an A in the real exam and I am so happy. I took part in the group sessions weekly which Andy ran where he would provide many exam style questions offering guidance on how to tackle any questions we were stuck on but also encouraged attempting the question first on our own. Without Andys help I would have struggled in the exams but thanks to this course I had a structured revision plan with an endless amount of exam style questions for effective revision and practice. I would definitely recommend this course.
I would really recommend Andy as a maths tutor, particularly the group sessions which I partook in. Andy has always been really encouraging despite me finding maths my most difficult A-level. His tutoring has helped me massively grow in confidence and feel more prepared as I completed my exams recently. Andy's tutoring is a really good option for anyone looking to build up their exam skills and improve their grade whilst feeling supported and as though it is possible to achieve a good grade!
