Jo has been teaching A-level Mathematics since 1997 in 11-18 comprehensive schools. She has taught all areas of curriculum and is expert in Pure, Statistics, and Mechanics. Her talent is inspiring confidence in her students, making them believe they can succeed. Her teaching experience means she is able to adapt her teaching and look at different ways to explain difficult concepts.
Each year she supports students with preparation for university admissions tests, including MAT and STEP.
As Head of Key Stage 5 Maths for 15+ years, Jo is always looking at ways to improve performance for all of the Maths and Further Maths A Level students in her school. Part of this role is regularly looking at exam papers, mark schemes and examiners reports, and giving staff and students guidance on how to maximise marks gained in exams.
As a P16 tutor for 16 years, Jo has supported students with all areas of their P16 journey, including applying for University and Apprenticeships.

A Level Maths Academy runs two 1-hour live, interactive lessons every week during term time on separate evenings. These lessons are designed to help students recap the entire course content, stay ahead in their studies, and prepare effectively for assessments.
