Jill has been teaching A Level Mathematics for over 25 years, the majority of which have been in sixth form colleges. She has a passion for helping students to achieve their potential and develops positive relationships with the students she works with. She is an expert in all aspects of the A Level Mathematics curriculum and has a track record of helping her students to achieve consistently outstanding results.
Over several years as Head of Maths in a sixth form college, Jill oversaw a substantial rise in student progress, with the department's exam results being rated as outstanding. Jill is currently an Assistant Principal, responsible for student progress and intervention.
Having over a decade of experience as an examiner (exam marker), Jill is able to support her students with exam technique and revision strategies in a way that few other tutors can. By using her knowledge of the exam marking process, she is able to ensure her students lose fewer marks from poor mathematial communication, ensuring they maximise their chances of a top grade.
